SCARRED BY POLYGAMY, VICTIMS CONFRONT ‘SISTER WIVES’ | The Rebel Yell

SCARRED BY POLYGAMY, VICTIMS CONFRONT ‘SISTER WIVES’ | The Rebel Yell

Polygamy like gay marriage is an affront to traditional marriage. Expect there to be a bigger push to legalize polygamy if gay marriage is legalized.  The Browns try to give the impression that they are a normal family.  They are normal if your family believes that you can become gods, if the black race is due to the "Mark of Cain," Adam is god, and other outlandish beliefs taught in Mormon fundamentalism.  These believes were first taught in what is considered mainstream Mormonism.  These same mainstream Mormons are very critical of the polygamists today, but the disgusting practice would not be in existence, if not for their past beloved leaders.  the Browns should not be admired by us.  They need our prayers, as do all members trapped in similar cults including the LDS (Mormon) church.  Pray for their deliverance from a lifestyle of bondage and for a true saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Other Mormon Church Moves Toward Gay Marriage

The Community of Christ (formerly RLDS) moves towards allowing gay marriage. I attended a RLDS service 20 years ago in Spokane when I was still LDS. I thought they were liberal at that time, an it appears nothing has changed.

Reinventing Emma Smith

Interesting article on Emma Smith. LDS historians, Mormon prophets and the LDS Church, for the most part, have not been kind to Emma.  This has always been the case towards anyone who leaves the Mormon Church.  However, it appears Emma was no longer so bad, but misunderstood. Will those who have found Jesus and left Mormonism eventually be considered not bad as well?  Well the truth is we are all bad. Jesus makes us clean.  Emma didn't need the approval of Brigham Young, nor does her memory by mainstream Mormonism. She needed Jesus. We all do.
